Since I had such wild success with the Claires mood polishes thus far, I decided to check out another, Calm/Wild. The Claires Mood polishes are temperature activated, so depending on how hot or cold your nails are, the color of the polish will change too! Pretty neat actually, except that they really only change in shade, instead of color. Calm/Wild dries in a satin finish, just as the others do, so if you don't favor that look, use a top coat.
Cold Water-
Warm Water-
Side by side-
Gradient?-
Calm/ Wild is either a light rosey pink, or a deep purple. It is unique to the Mood collection because it is the only polish that has sparkles in it. The difference between the two colors is not nearly has drastic as with Hyper/ Relaxed, so the gradient effect is hard to notice. The colors are very pretty, but not exactly my style. The wear time on this was poor. Unlike Hyper/Relaxed, which lasted me about a week, this polish was chipping within a few hours. This might be due to the fact that it is and older polish, and therefore may not be an improved formula. Overall this polish is nice, but did not impress me nearly as much as hyper/relaxed did.

Zoya Neeka
I'm back! I've actually been back for a few days now, but I've been in recovery mode. Anyway, upon my arrival awaited a package consisting of 6 Zoya polishes. I got Zoya Yara, Neeka, Reva, Caitlin, Ki, and Dannii. This lovely little number is Neeka from the new fall 2011 Smoke and Mirrors collection.
The green is just a reflection of the surroundings
Neeka is a deep smoky purple-grey. It has tiny gold glitter that tends to give the polish a speckled sort of look. This color is darker than I would usually go for, but the glitter brings a bit of a fun aspect, which is what attracted me to it.

Cheerleading Konad
Tomorrow morning I will be heading to cheerleading camp for 4 days! Finally the perfect opportunity to use my Konad plate S7! Plate S7 consists entirely of designs related to cheerleading, such as pompoms, a megaphone, and cheerleaders, so cute!
This is Very Cherry! It's very similar to Midnight Sky, which I have previously posted about. It has the same silver sparkle reflects, except instead they do not reside in a grey base. Very Cherry Isn't quite red, but more of a rosey pink raspberry color.
Now the Konad design-
I'm still a novice at Konad so the designs didn't turn out quite as crisp and straight as I would have wanted, but this will suffice.

I chopped my nails off in anticipation of camp to avoid breakage.

"Holos" Color Block
I noticed that these three colors all have similar finishes, so I thought I'd do a design that incorporates them all. They are all noted as holos, but in reality they really don't exemplify very prominent holographic qualities. They all are adorned with sparkles, but the sparkles aren't quite holographic, more like silver reflects. The holo effect is sparse and sporadic, only slightly noticeable in few lightings.
A holo this subtle is very difficult to capture.
These colors are Color Club Fashion Addict, Color Club Worth The Risque, and China Glaze Techno Teal.

Fishtail Braid
I was originally going to do the standard braided look, but I couldn't find another color that worked well with Zoya Mira and China Glaze Shower Together, and well, I really wanted to use those two. So I compromised and went for the "fishtail" look. It doesn't necessarily look like a fishtail, but the concept is the same.
China Glaze Shower Together and Zoya Mira . The accent nail is China Glaze Shower Together and China Glaze For Audrey.

Midnight Sky
This post was originally going to be about a manicure I did, which will be pictured at the end of the post, but the base color I used is so amazing that it had to become the star of this post. Im a Sally Hansen Xreme Wear collector. The majority of my polish collection is occupied by Xtreme Wears, so when the new collection came out, I raced to get every color. One of those colors was Midnight Sky. Midnight Sky is a dark gunmetal charcoalish color. It has small, not nontheless noticeable, silver frosty glitters. I don't really gravitate towards darker colors, but this is just dazzling. I don't think that the color is particularly unique in the grand scheme of nail polish, but in my collection its a gem.
Now on to the actual look...
I applied Wet N Wild Party Of Five Glitters on top.

Then I matted the look using Essie Matte About You. I'm not usually huge on matte looks, but glitter is an exception.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This is a very simplistic version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Upon further investigation (aka Google Images), I discovered that this is a reasonably popular design, so excuse my unoriginality.
Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo
For the base I used Xtreme Wear Green With Envy. For the face band mask things(?) I used Xtreme Wear Sunkissed, Cherry Red, Zoya Mira, and Xtreme Wear Blue Me Away!. The eyes are Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Xtreme Wear Black Out.

GO GO POWER RANGERS!
I've been on a bit of a Power Rangers kick lately, so I had to do something Power Rangers themed on my nails. Every nail is the torso of the uniform of the original five Mighty Morphing rangers I wish I had six fingers so that I could do a nail for the Green Ranger, but alas, I do not, So Tommy had to get the boot.
Black Ranger
Xtreme Wear Fuchsia Power, Cherry Red, Pacific Blue, Mellow Yellow, Black Out. The diamonds are Xtreme Wear White On.
Love it. I'm a nerd.
