Egg Hunt

Hello! Today I'm wearing a fun Easter manicure! I still haven't decided whether or not I'm going to wear this for Easter day, or do another design. For these nails I painted some eggs in the grass. I also couldn't resist painting a little bunny as well! This is my favorite time of the year because rabbits are everywhere!!
The base is Zoya Blu. For the eggs I used Xtreme Wear Lacy Lilac, Color Club Vintage Couture, Orly Lemonade, and Essie Where's My Chauffeur?. The grass is La Splash Greenery, OPI Here Today... Aragon Tomorrow, and Essie Navigate Her.

Tri-Polish Challenge: Day 4

Hello! This is the last Tri-Polish post for March! Which means that this is also my last time using these three colors for a manicure. For my final purple green and coral design I did a tribal print! I love painting tribal prints. My favorite part about it is just making it up as I go along. For this manicure I once again used Xtreme Wear Coral Reef, Mac Salad Dressed, and OPI Vant To Bite My Neck?.

Tri-Polish Challenge: Day 3

Hello! It's day three of the Tri-Polish challenge! There's only one more manicure left to do using these colors. For this manicure however, I used my current favorite technique, striping tape! I love how this came out! These tape manicures never seem to disappoint me. On every nail I did a different pattern for the base, and on the pinky nail I did something more random. Looking at it now, I wish I had painted a linear pattern, but it stills looks aright! I used China Glaze Vant To Bite My Neck?, Xtreme Wear Coral Reef, and Mac Salad Dressed.

Rainbows And Striping Tape

Hello! I am super excited about today's manicure. I love it! I think a little while ago I briefly saw something like this while scrolling through Pinterest. For this manicure I first put a base of white, so that the neons would be brighter. Then I painted a rainbow using all of the colors from the Color club Wicked Sweet collection. I overlapped the ends of each color a little, just so it made a bit of a gradient. I then top coated that and when it dried I applied striping tape and painted over the exposed color with black! This made really straight clean lines. I've been loving using striping tape lately, in fact, tomorrow's post will also be a manicure utilizing it.
Wicked Sweet collection includes Wicked Sweet, Gimme A Grape Big Kiss, Raspberry Rush, Yum Gum, I Always Get My Man-Darin, Get Your Lem-On, and The Lime Starts Here. Also they're all scented!

Pink and Purple Zebra

Hello! Today I have a manicure that I did a couple of weeks ago. I kind of forgot about it until now. I did a gradient with Revlon Cherries In The Snow, and Zoya Mira for the base. Then I free handed a zebra print with Zoya Neely. Excuse my messy cuticles, that pink color was impossible to clean up!

Color Club Halo Hues 2013

Hello! Today I have some awesome polishes to show! For my birthday last week I got a couple of polishes from the recent Color Club Halo Hues collection. They are pretty amazing. I received four from the six piece collection, Cosmic Fate (orange), Eternal Beauty (purple), Kismet (yellow), and Over The Moon (blue). The polishes have a great formula, although sometimes, after the fact, I have noticed the slightest bit of patchiness. Each polish is really pigmented and has a strong linear holo! So far I've only worn Kismet and Over The Moon on their own, so I have some quick swatches of those. The holo is even stronger than my camera wanted to pick up.

I also got striping tape! I couldn't resist doing some fun designs and playing around with these new polishes!
For this manicure I used all of the mentioned polishes
And with manicure I used Over The Moon and Eternal Beauty.

Ikat Print

Hello! Some how I ended up completely forgetting about two holiday nail arts that Iwanted to do, Pi day, and St. Patrick's Day. Instead of some festive green manicure, I bring you this. I have finally decided to try my hand at the ikat print. The fun thing about this design  is that you can be pretty much as messy as you want! The pink is Zoya Shelby, and the orange is Arizona.

Funky Flowers

Hello! I got today's manicure from some scrapbook paper. I thought it was really fun so I wanted to recreate it on my nails. It's a different sort of floral because the flowers are like spiky. I think it turned out pretty neat though.
The base is Xtreme Wear White On. The flowers are Zoya Flora, and Xtreme Wear Fuchsia Power. The leaf things are Essie Power Clutch and the polka dots are Navigate Her.

It's My Birthday!

Hi! My last post was a bit depressing, but I'm glad to say that this one is quite the opposite. Today was my birthday!! I say "was" because it's nearly midnight. I haven't ever really done any birthday nail art, so I thought why not! I painted candles sitting on a cake! No, I'm not 12. Some of the candles are a bit wonky because I painted this really quickly, but candles can melt weird, so I can play it off. Now that the day is nearly over, I can say that it was another successful birthday!
The base is Zoya Julie. The cake is Zoya Blu. The candles are Xtreme Wear Green With Envy, Fuchsia Power, and Pacific Blue. The flames are Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow and Sun Kissed.

My Bunny Pichu

Hi guys. So this post is bit upsetting for me. On the 7th my very first rabbit Pichu passed away. She had been sick for a couple of days before hand, but her health seemed improving the day before her passing. This was very upsetting for me, as I loved her dearly, and I had really hoped she would make it through. For my manicure today I wanted to do something in memory of her. I painted her on my two nails and on the others I did orange polka dots because she loved papaya treats. The base I used is Zoya Neely and the orange is Arizona, the rest was just a mix of colors.
Rest In Peace Pichu, I love you and I'll miss you immensely.

Pinwheel

Hi! I've been meaning to do some sort of swirl design since around Christmas, when the peppermint candy swirl was going around. I finally got around to doing it, but I decided to go with more spring like colors, since it's finally getting warmer around here. I used Zoya Neely, Julie, Gie Gie, and Orly Lemonade. This manicure just made me thing of pinwheels.

China Glaze Modify Me

Hi! Today I am wearing a polish from the China Glaze Tranzitions collection. This collection includes six polishes that change from one color to another when a clear coat of nail polish is applied on top. It's a pretty neat concept. The one that I am currently wearing is called Modify Me. Modify Me starts out as a periwinkle that, when the topcoat is applied, turns into a darker royal blue. Both colors are nice, but I especially love the darker color. I got a lot of compliments on it too! With these polishes you can change the color of an entire nail, or even do some designs! It's important to apply an even amount of clear coat though, because the color change depends on how much there is. I used two coats of this polish and the formula was normal. The only bummer about these polishes is that I like the topcoat-less color, but I'm not usually thrilled with how polishes look without topcoat.

Spring Braid

Hello! Today I have a braid manicure! I was trying to think up a design I could do using these three colors and then a braid finally came to mind. These are really easy to do, I don't even use a nail art brush. I think the most difficult part about these manicures is keeping each line straight, and the sections even. It's also a bit time consuming because you have to wait for each line to dry before you can apply the next, but I usually love the end result, so it's worth it! I used only Essie, Navigate Her (green), Haute As Hello (orange), and Cute As A Button (pink).
