Hi! Lately I've been seeing this tutorial all over Pinterest. I've always thought it was really cool looking, and I've finally decided to give it a try. The design utilizes the fan brush, which I thought was fun because I never use that when doing my nails. My stripes are not as nice and clean as the tutorial, but I still ended up really loving the outcome.
The base is Zoya Darcy. I use three pinks for the stripes, Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy, Peach Beach, and Razz-Berry.

Hi! It's the last day of my game week. For my final manicure I wanted to do something Mario related. I decided to paint the logos of Mario and Luigi, as well as their evil counter-parts Wario and Waluigi, as they appear on their hats. For some reason Wario's 'W' kind of goes outside the circle on his hat, so that's how I painted it. Also On my thumb I painted the little flower brooch on Princess Daisy's dress. I painted Daisy as opposed to Peach because I've just always liked her more.
Green is Revlon Posh, Red is Color Club Heart To Heart, Yellow is Zoya Darcy, and the purple is Zoya Mira. The blue on Wario is China Glaze Shower Together, and the center on Daisy is Xtreme Wear The Real Teal. The orange is Zoya Arizona.
Hello! Today I am sporting Pac-Man inspired nail art. I am terrible at this game, the ghosts make me too nervous. For my nails I painted a typical level on Pac-Man. I originally had intended on painting a few of the ghosts in the level but I ended up not having room.
Pac-man is Zoya Darcy and the blue is Xtreme Wear Blinding Blue.

Today I painted my nails based off of The Legend of Zelda. On my pointer I painted a red rupee, the games form of currency. On my middle finger is the Tri-force, and on my ring finger is Link's helpful fairy friend, Navi. For my pinky I painted a health bar heart. I painted it on a light pink field because I wanted something that was Princess Zelda-esque. On my thumb I was originally going to write out the word Zelda, but I didn't have enough space, so I just settled on the Z.
The gold is Color Club Gingerbread Man, the green is La Splash Greenery, the red is Color Club Heart To Heart, and the pink is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy. For Navi I used Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue, and Zoya Blu.

Today for my game week I have decided to paint my nails inspired by the game Tetris. The manicure is a little rough around the edges, but it's fine because perfect squares are not easy to paint! The overall effect is nice, I suppose.
The red is Color Club Heart To Heart, the green is Twiggie, and the purple is Pucci-Licious. The blue is Orly Blue Navy. The cyan color is China Glaze For Audrey. The yellow is Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow, and the orange is Zoya Arizona.

Hello! I've decided to start a themed week. This weeks manicures will be all about games. For my first game inspired manicure I went with Bubble Bobble. Bubble Bobble is probably the most adorable game I have ever played. On my nails I painted the two heroic dinosaurs, Bub and Bob. I also painted their signature weapon, bubbles.
For Bub (the green one) I used China Glaze Def Defying and Zoya Arizona. For Bob (the blue one) I used OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and Color Club Pucci-Licious.

Hello! Normally at this time in the month I would be posting a Tri-Polish Challenge manicure. However, I'm not really a fan of the colors for August, which are red, yellow, and green, so I decided not to participate this time around. Today I decided to try out an interlocking dot manicure! At first I didn't think it really looked right, but when I added top coat it all came together. On my pointer finger I used a larger dotting tool just because I wanted to see what it would look like.
The purple is Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac, and the pink is Peach Beach.

Hello! In my house I recently came upon an awesome tissue box that had the most adorable monster printed on it.The moment I saw it I knew I would have to paint him on my nails. This as the result. Unfortunately the tissue box was thrown out before I could take a photo of it.
The base on all my nails except for my middle finger is China Glaze Def Defying. I originally had that as the base on my middle finger as well, but the color bled through the eyes and made them look yellow, so I did it again but with Xtreme Wear Green With Envy instead. The blue in the eyes is OPI Can't Find My Czechbook.

Hi! Recently one of my favorite lines of nail polish, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear, came out with a new collection. Obviously I picked up some of the colors and immediately had to play around with them. For this manicure I grabbed a few of my favorite of those polishes and went to town. I really had no plans when I started this manicure, but I ended up loving it, and wearing it for nearly five days! It' been a while since I've done some crazy dotting, and who doesn't love a good dotticure? The base color is extremely tricky to photograph, but I did my best!
The base is Xtreme Wear Pefect Pear-Ing. For the dots I used Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy, Razz-Berry, and Peach Beach.

Hello! Once again I am using one of my favorite nail art techniques, striping tape. This time I decided to go for a triangle design. I love the results! The light pink is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy and the purple is OPI Vant To Bite My Neck?
Here are my nails with all that tape on!

Hello! It feels like it's been forever since my last post. Today I'm posting these cactus nails that I painted a little while ago. I don't remember what my motivation was for painting a potted cactus next to a sun wearing sunglasses, but I think they're pretty cute.
The base is Zoya Blue. The base of the Cactus is Zoya Josie and the detail is LA Splash Greenery. The orange is Zoya Thandie and the yellow is Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow.
