I got this jelly polish, Zoya Frida, years ago when it came out, and until now I had never used in an actual manicure. I was so excited to do all kinds of cool stuff with it, but I had trouble getting an even coverage, so I kind of just forgot about this polish. Well I finally broke out this bad boy the other day and I'm glad I did. I know this manicure has probably been done a hundred times, but I wanted to give it a go and I think it looks pretty cool. It's not the most incredible thing in the world, but it is a great way to get a neat looking design using basically only one polish.

Watermarble Skittlette
I was going to do a full manicure of watermarble, but these polishes were not working well in the water, so I took what I could get and went with a skittlette instead. I used China Glaze Plur-Ple, Color Club Diggin' The Dancing Queen, and Color Club Hot Hot Hot Pants.

Pop of Color Floral
For today I have this monochromatic design with a pop of color in the flowers. I love how clean black and white look together and I'm super happy with how this turned out. The only color in this is China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle.

Triangle Tracker
Here's a manicure that I did using some red polishes, which is pretty unusual because I'm not a fan of working with red. The gradient is China Glaze Purr-Fect Plum, China Glaze Seduce Me, and a white. I also freehand painted some random triangle designs on top; the finished look reminds me a bit of those facial trackers, like on Snapchat.

Jawbreaker Splatter
It's a splatter design for today. This time I tried to make sure there was more of a speckled look, rather than big splats all across the nail, and I think it's a nice effect. I used China Glaze Treble Maker, China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener, China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, China Glaze Boho Blues, China Glaze Plur-Ple, and China Glaze Glow With The Flow. I was kind of careless when splattering, so I ended up making a pretty big mess on my hand.

Opalescent Scales
While these aren't actually opalescent, which would be awesome, the colors that I used remind me a bit of the color shift in opals. I used China Glaze Pack Lightly, China Glaze Dashboard Dreamer, and China Glaze Wanderlust. I also put holographic glitter on two of my nails, but I wasn't a big fan of it, so I left it off the rest.

Steps of Blue
For this design I started out with a gradient of blues and used some nail vinyls to make a sharp chevron. I then freehand painted the corresponding colors branching out in a sort of steps pattern. For the gradient I used a white, Xtreme Wear Babe Blue, Xtreme Wear Royal Hue, and Sinful Colors Endless Blue. The grey is Essie Petal Pushers.

Anchors Away
I did a manicure just like this last year, and I liked it, except I was really unhappy with the quality. I did basically the same thing again, but I added a few more elements to make is more interesting this time. I used Zoya Cole, OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and China Glaze One Track Mind. I also matted this, which I actually didn't really like in person, but I think it looks much better on camera than the glossy did.
