Day 20, and the last day of the Patterns section, is water marble. It was also a huge day of fail for me.
Water marble is really neat, but I've never had a whole lot of success with it, like today for example. I haven't done water marble in over a year, and now I realize why I don't ever do it. It's way to unpredictable and messy. The reason today was such a failure was because I could not get this design to work! I would put my nail in the design and when I lifted the nail out of the water the polish would just slide off... I don't recall this ever happening to me before. Also, the unfortunate design that I did managed to get would not photograph! But I guess that's kinda for the best... So here are some crummy photos of a crummy manicure! :)
I used China Glaze Frostbite, Xtreme Wear Celeb City, and Sinful Colors Love Nails,

31 Day Challenge: Day 19
Galaxy nails today! The day I've been dreading. Galaxy nails are the one nail design I would absolutely never attempt otherwise. It's not that I don't like the look, In fact I think they look pretty neat. I just never thought I could pull it off. Turns out, it's a lot easier than it looks.
I don't love it, but I do like it more than I expected to.
The base colors are Xtreme Wear Midnight Sky, Color Club Alias, and Alter Ego.
The galaxy details are Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow, Sunkissed, Essie Haute As Hello, Orly Royal Navy. The stars are Sinful Colors Snow Me White, China Glaze Frosty. I also Sponged a bit of Nicole By OPI Make A Comet-Ment on top.

31 Day Challenge: Day 18
Day 18 is Half Moons
I did these Half Moons freehand, but you can use paper reinforcements to keep the curve crisp and even. I'm not patient enough to wait for the base coat to dry before applying the reinforcements, which causes the polish to peel off when you remove the sticker, which is why I don't do them that way.
This is Zoya Charla, Dannii, and Apple.
I added a little crescent moon glitter to each nail using a pumpkin nail polish from Rite Aid, sadly it doesn't have a name.

31 Day Challenge: Day 17
It's day 17 and the challenge is glitter nails! Woo I love glitter!
I was at CVS and I found this adorable glitter polish by a brand called Confetti. The polish is Tazmanian Devil, and it's wonderful. It has a ton of different colored glitters such as yellow, orange, blue, green, pink, and silver which come in medium and small hexagonal shapes, as well a tiny dusty glitter. So much is going on with this polish. I put it on top of Xtreme Wear Black Out, so as to not take away from the effect of the glitter. Mildly picture heavy because I love it so much.

I was going to matte it, because I love the look of matted glitter, but I feel like I did that too recently, also this color is gorgeous as it.

31 Day Challenge: Day 16
Todays challenge is Tribal Nails! I would probably never even attempt tribal nails if it wasn't for this challenge.
Xtreme Wear Wet Cement, Essie Haute As Hello, China Glaze For Audrey. The detailing is Xtreme Wear Black Out and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.
That was a lot of work.

31 Day Challenge: Day 15
Day 15! The challenge for today is delicate pattern! Um. What does that even mean? The first thing I thought was a flower design, because flowers are.. delicate? Yesterdays challenge was flowers, but that's why I used the stickers for it, as opposed to the design I'm showing you today!
It kinda reminds me of an Arizona Green Tea bottle!
I used Xtreme Wear Mint Sorbet, BubbleGum Pink (dark pink), Color Club Vintage Couture (light pink), and Revlon Hot For Chocolate.

31 Day Challenge: Day 14
Welcome to day 14! The challenge is flowers!
So my sister was rummaging through her draws and she came across this little number.
Nail art stickers! They came in nail art pack from years ago. I've never used nail art stickers before, so I thought what better time to try them out?
Okay, at first I thought that they were pretty lame and cheap, but they're actually really cute and have pretty good sticking ability. My pinky got a little weird because I didn't wait long enough for the polish to dry.
The base colors are Xtreme Wear Bubblegum Pink, and Mellow Yellow.

31 Day Challenge: Day 13
Todays challenge is Animal Print! Oh lord. I'm intimidated by freehand animal print. I did a gradient with Xtreme Wear Fuchsia Power, Color Club Pucci-Licious, and Xtreme Blue Me Away, with a zebra print on top using Xtreme Wear Black Out. Now, I know that this has been done before. This style of manicure is very popular, but cute, so I did it anyway.

31 Day Challenge: Day 12
Day twelve's challenge is stripes! I didn't want to do an all Color Club look again, but I just love this color combination. I used Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau (blue), Vintage Couture (pink), and Pucci-licious (purple).
I did not want to take this off!

31 Day Challenge: Day 11
This is the first day of "patterns" section, and we're kicking it off with Polka Dots! I've had this particular manicure planned out since I started this challenge and I am so glad I finally get to do it!
I used the entire Color Club Starry Temptress collection which consists of You Got Soul-Ar (orange),
which I've previously posted about here, Space Case (light pink), Ultra-Astral (dark pink), Wink Wink Twinkle (purple), Glitter Envy (green), Otherworldly (blue). I love the Starry Temptress collection. It consists of 6 bright colors with holographic glitters. The glitters hardly sparkle though and just give the polish a speckled appearance, it's amazing!
Since I'm in the next section here's a little reminder of what's coming up.

31 Day Challenge: Day 10
Day ten's challenge is gradient nails! Glitter gradients are my favorite!
I used Xtreme Wear Marine Scene and Emerald City. The glitter I used is Revlon Blue Mosaic. Blue Mosaic is beautiful! It's tiny ice blue glitters with medium hexagonal glitters in a similar light blue, silver, and green. It's very mermaid-esque.

31 Day Challenge: Day 9
Rainbow nails for todays challenge!
I used 8 colors for this look. The base colors starting left to right: Xtreme Wear Ocean View, Going Green, Mellow Yellow with Color Club Get Your Lem-On, Crushed, Zoya Carrie Ann, Xtreme Wear Virtual Violet, and Marine Scene. I did a base of white under all the polka dots using Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

31 Day Challenge: Day 8
The challenge for day 8 is Metallic Nails!
I think metallic finishes are kind of hard to spot, so I had trouble picking what I wanted to do for this.
I knew for a fact that I was going to use China Glaze Millennium. I do not like the look of plain silver metallic nails on me, at all. With that in mind, I went on the hunt for another metallic polish in my collection. In the bottle Color Club Emerald Depths seemed like it was what I was looking for.
This is the first manicure so far that I actually felt bad taking off.

31 Day Challenge: Day 7
Day seven's challenge is Black and White nails!
Finally mixing it up a little! I was beginning to get a tad bored. Here's what I came up with!
The black and white are Xtreme Wear Black Out and White On. The crackles that I used are China Glaze Black Mesh and China Glaze White Lightning.

31 Day Challenge: Day 6
Day 6 challenge is Violet nails!
The polish I have for today isn't necessarily violet. I just took this challenge to mean purple... Today I have on Kleancolor Holo Chrome.
Holo Chrome is is a blue toned purple with tons of small scattered holo glitters. On camera it appears to be more blue than it really is. The holo doesn't make any sort of pattern, it's just sprinkled all over the nail. I could not stop staring at it!

31 Day Challenge: Day 5
Todays challenge is Blue Nails!
Today was a difficult decision because I knew that I wanted to use my new Milani Blue Lightning. and yes Blue is in the name, but the bottle was a bit deceiving.
For fun I added stars and hexagonal glitters using KleanColor Silver Star
Blue Lightning has midnight blue glitters in a deep blue base. The reason why I was unsure about using this polish for Day 5 is because it also has scattered purple glitters in it. In the bottle the purple is very noticeable, almost overwhelmingly so, but on the nail it doesn't really show.
The bottle claims that it is one coat formula. It was close but not quite. The first coat was pretty opaque, but it was obvious that the polish wasn't at full potential. Two coats bring extreme opacity though. I'm sure that you could get away with one coat if it is applied very thick.
