New31DC: Day 15
Hi! Today is day 15, half way through the challenge! The prompt is watercolor. This technique is where you put dots of polish on your nails and smear them around with acetone. This was my first ever attempt at it, I didn't have very much luck with it. It sounds like an easy process, but I had a difficult time with it. I'm not thrilled with the end result, it doesn't really look like a watercolor to me, but I do think the colors are pretty.
I used Color Club Raspberry Rush, Take Me To Your Chateau, Yum Gum, Pucci-Licious, Disco Dress, and China Glaze Man Hunt.
The way I did mine was to put the polish on a paper plate (or a piece of foil) and mix the acetone with the polish there...that way I can get the consistency I want before I apply it to my nails. I just posted mine yesterday if you want to take a peek... http://rainbownailsforfun.blogspot.com
