Floral Edge

Hello! More floral today; I'm definitely on a flower kick. The base is China Glaze Mix and Mingle, the roses are Xtreme Wear Vibrant Violet, and Xtreme Wear Raspberry Rave, and the leaves are Revlon Posh. The glitter shards are Maybelline Gleaming Graphite. I did these on a whim and I'm super happy with the result. I especially like the look of the shattered glitter. I got that polish years ago and this is only the first time I've used it, so I'm definitely going to have to come up with another design for it now that I know how cool it is.

Sunset Double Water Spotting

For the base I did a corner gradient using Xtreme Wear Purple Craze, Vibrant Violet, Raspberry Rave, For Sher-Bert, Red Rebel, and Sunny Side. My white polish is getting a bit thick, so it wasn't spotting nicely. I finally got a design that I was somewhat happy with, but when I put on topcoat the yellow bled into the white. Luckily, it looks more subtle on camera than in real life. I also used a better smelling spray to create the spotting this time, so it ended up actually being quite pleasant to have stuck on my hand for five days.
Here's the gradient before the water spotting. It's all bumpy looking because there's not topcoat, but I still wanted to get a picture because I think these polishes blend so well and the colors are really pretty together.

Matte Coral Floral

I did this design based off of a skirt that I own in order to try out some different floral patterns. It doesn't look as nice as I wanted, the flowers really just look like blobs, but as a whole I think it looks alright, especially with the matte finish. The base is China Glaze Man Hunt. For the flowers I used Xtreme Wear Caribbean Coral, Xtreme Wear Coral Reef, and Xtreme Wear Peach Beach. The leaves are Essie Navigate Her and Xtreme Wear Green Thumb.

Purple Floral

Hello! I absolutely love today's nails. I tried out a bit of a different technique for this floral design, and while it didn't work out quite as easily as I thought, I think it still looks pretty nice. The base is Color Club Kiss My French. For the flowers I used China Glaze Mix And Mingle, China Glaze Let's Jam, China Glaze What A Pansy, and OPI You're Such A Budapest. The leaves are Xtreme Wear Green Thumb and Essie Navigate Her.

Tape Designs and Sponging

Here's a random one that I did just because I got new makeup sponges and I really wanted to do a ton of sponging. I used Color Club Diggin' The Dancing Queen, Color Club Meet Me At The Ice Rink, and Xtreme Wear Perfect Pear-ing. I used gold striping tape and the color bled onto the white lines and made the nails look all gunky, unfortunately.

Meet in the Middle

It's been forever since I've done a glitter gradient. I'm a little indecisive, so for this one I did two colors of glitter gradienting towards each other. For the base gradient I used China Glaze Mix And Mingle, China Glaze Plur-Ple, Essie Hide And Go Chic, and China Glaze One Track Mind. The gold glitter is Color Club Sultry, and the silver glitter is Color Club Sex Symbol.

Glitter Drips

I usually prefer to freehand drips, but I used nail vinyls this time so that I was able to sponge on the glitter and make it really dense and full coverage. For the gradient I used Color Club Worth The Risque, Revvvolution, and Wild At Heart. The glitter for the drips is Color Club Sexy Siren, and the outline is China Glaze Mix And Mingle.

Fourth of July Glitter Placement

This year for the Fourth of July I did a glitter placement. What else is new? I tried my best to place the glitter to look like the American flag, but I did find stars to be a bit tricky to figure out; I'm still not sure how I feel about them. The blue is pulled from China Glaze Mosaic Madness, the red and silver are just Red and Silver from the Milani Jewel FX collection, and the little silver "stars" are from Color Club Orna-minted.
