Blue And Purple Water Marble

Hello! It's been a while since I did a water marble. Not too long ago I picked up China Glaze One Track Mind, All Aboard, and New Birth at Sally's. When I got home it hit me that they might work well marbled together. For being way out of practice, I'm really happy with out it turned out! I feel like the pictures don't really show off how pretty and how nicely these polishes meshed together.

Vertical Dotticure

Hello! Here's a manicure I did recently which consists of many dots. I'm not very good with dotting tools, so I thought this would make for some good practice. The base is China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint. For the design I used China Glaze All Aboard, China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le, Essie Turquoise And Caicos, and Extreme Wear Pinch Of Punch.

Glitter Week: Maybelline Precious Pearl

Hello! It's the last day of my glitter week. Actually, yesterday was supposed to be the finale day, but I was busy, so I wasn't able to paint my nails until late at night. The glitter that I used for this mani is Maybelline Precious Pearl, which is a bunch of different sized white glitters in a clear base. I sponged a line of this down the center of my nail. My lines aren't all that centered or straight, but I still think it's pretty. The base is a two color gradient using Essie Turquoise And Caicos and China Glaze Sweet Hook.

Glitter Week: China Glaze Create A Spark

For today's manicure the glitter that I'm sporting is China Glaze Create A Spark! It has pink, black, and purple hex glitter, and it's really pretty. This time I did a glitter placement using the polish. I'm so happy with how this turned out; I love doing glitter placement! The base is China Glaze New Birth and for the stripes I used Zoya Megan. Something's a bit weird with these pictures, the nails look much cleaner in person.

Glitter Week: OPI When Monkeys Fly!

Today the glitter that I'm wearing is OPI When Monkeys Fly! When Monkeys Fly! has holo glitter in two sizes and also large gold hexagons. This nail polish has a pretty bad reputation, but I love it! The most common complaint about this polish is that the gold glitter tends to "taco," but I've never had an issue with it doing that. The holo glitters are really amazing too, I can't help but stare at them! For this manicure I put the glitter polish on to a sponge first so that I could really pack it on the nails without making them super thick. The pink is Color Club Kiss My French and the silver is Xtreme Wear Celeb City.

Glitter Week: Maybelline Blue Beats

Hello! Today the glitter that I'm featuring in my manicure is Maybelline Blue Beats! The pink base that I used is China Glaze Feel The Breeze. On top of that I applied some tape to make a braid design with nice clean lines. For the blue I had to mix together OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, Xtreme Wear Blinding Blue, and some of Zoya Blu to create a color close to that of the glitter. I wasn't sure how the glitter was going to work out with the striping tape, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Glitter Week: OPI Blush Hour

Today is the first day of a week long series I'm doing. For the rest of the week I will be posting nail art that has glitter polish incorporated into the manicure in some way. I have a ton of glitter nail polishes, but I hardly get to wear many of them because I'll primarily wear some sort of dull nail art. That's why this week I'll be trying to merge those two together! The purple is China Glaze Sweet Hook and the pink is Xtreme Wear Peach Beach. The glitter that I used today is OPI Blush Hour. I really like this glitter, but I think it might have been better if it had a clear base rather than pink.

China Glaze Choo-Choo Choose You

I recently picked up China Glaze Choo-Choo Choose You, and I've been dying to try it out. I wanted to use it in some nail art, but I also still wanted to be able to see a lot of the color, so I just did a simple half moon using Orly Rage. Choo-Choo Choose You is a dusty greyish purple with crazy duochromatic shimmer in it. I originally bought this polish mostly just for the name, so I'm glad I ended up loving the color so much!

Dragonball Z

I've been debating painting Dragonball Z nails for a while now, but when I went to see DBZ: Battle of Gods in theaters yesterday I knew it was finally time! For my nails I wanted to paint something for each of my favorite DBZ characters. On my pointer is Future Trunk's outfit. For my middle finger I painted Master Roshi's symbol, which his students, and most importantly Goku, wear. On my ring finger is the armor that Vegeta typically wears, and on my pinky is Piccolo's outfit, including a bit of his weighted cloak. On my thumb I had painted the three star dragonball, but it looked kinda sloppy so I didn't want to put up a picture of it.
Pointer: I used Revlon Iconic, Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue, OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, OPI The "It" Color, and China Glaze Roguish Red.
Middle: The orange is Zoya Thandie.
Ring: The blue is China Glaze Manhunt and the yellow is Zoya Darcy,
Pinky: The base is Zoya Mira. For his waistband I mixed OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and China Glaze One Track Mind.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Hello! Here are my Guardians of the Galaxy inspired nails! On my pointer finger I painted Gamora. Sometimes she has pupils, sometimes she doesn't, so I just excluded them. I think I made her look a bit like a drag queen... I've never painted a woman's face before! On my middle finger I painted Star-Lord's helmet from the movie. My ring finger has Rocket Racoon, and on my pinky is the marking on Drax's shoulder. For my thumb I painted a super simplified version of Groot, just his eyes. I was having trouble wrapping my brain around how to paint him and I didn't think I'd have enough room for much more of this face anyway.
Pointer: The base is Zoya Josie, the yellow is Zoya Darcy, and everything else is a mixed color.
Middle: The base is Revlon Iconic, the gold is OPI Golden Rules! and the silver  is Essie No Place Like Chrome. The eyes are Color Club Berry And Bright.
Ring: The base is OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and the brown is China Glaze Mahogany Magic.
Pinky: The green is China Glaze Starboard, and the red is Nicole By OPI Challenge Red-y.
Thumb: I used China Glaze Mahogany Magic, Revlon Hot For Chocolate, and Essie Miss Fancy Pants.
