Bright Quatrefoil Mess

Here's a fun failure. I used Xtreme Wear Retro Grade, Essie Petal Pushers, Zoya Dove, Xtreme Wear Garage Band, China Glaze Born To Rule, China Glaze Mix and Mingle, Color Club Biscuits & Jam, and Xtreme Wear Razz-Berry

Shining Stars

I used Orly Rage, and China Glaze Born To Rule. While wearing this manicure I caught my nails on my car door handle and broke almost all of them! Managed to save the mani though!

Trippy Squares

The base stripes on this are Zoya Lillian, Zoya Jordan, Zoya Tina, Zoya Sawyer, Orly Lemonade, and Zoya Ness and I used some square spiral vinyls from What's Up Nails.

Sweet Sunset Thorns

For this one  had to pull out my What's Up Nails thorn nail vinyls. The gradient, from bottom to top, is China Glaze Kill 'Em With Kindness, Zoya Sawyer, Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party.

Vortex

For this one I started out with a radial gradient of China Glaze All Glammed Up, China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, China Glaze What I Like About Blue, China Glaze Mix and Mingle, a sprinkling of China Glaze Fairy Dust. I used some What's Up Nails nail vinyls and added black and white stripes to create the swirling vortex effect.

Multi-Color Marbled Stars

   The base is Zoya Storm, and I smoosh marbled with Ghina Glaze What I Like About Blue, China Glaze One Polished Pony, China Glaze Let's Jam,  China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes, China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener, China Glaze Kill 'Em With Kindness all on top of star nail vinyls from What's Up Nails.

Quatrefoil Christmas

I'm cutting it really close with these final Christmas designs! For this one I used Xtreme Wear With The Beet, Xtreme Wear Drop The Beet, Xtreme Wear Golden-I. For the quatrefoil I used Whats Up Nails nail vinyls and freehanded the rest. This was also one that I had to check out in matte.

Snowflake Hexagons

This is my first holiday mani of the year! I love this one! I can't remember where I got the inspiration for this from, whether it was a wrapping paper or a manicure I saw on Instagram, but I know it was something!

Smooshed Leaves

This will be my last super fall manicure for the season and soon enough we'll be on to holiday nails! I can't wait; this is usually my favorite time of the year in general, but especially for nail art. For these leaves I did a smoosh marble over a nail vinyl and once they dried, I placed each leaf on my nail individually. I used China Glaze Foie Gras, Essie Miss Fancy Pants, Zoya Darcy, Zoya Cole, Zoya Arizona, Essie Navigate Her, Color Club Macaroon Swoon, and NOPI Challenge Red-Y.

Fancy Dry Marble

This manicure was done very similarly to my Dry Marbled Abstract. The vinyls that I used for the decals were a little bigger than I wanted, so rather than just placing the decals directly on my nail, I cut them up and repositioned little sections in order to effectively shrink the design. To fill in the empty space I did some marbled polka dots. I used China Glaze Wait N Sea, China Glaze Plur-Ple and China Glaze Too Yacht Too Handle over a base of  Color Club 'Till The Record Stops.

Splatter Drips

 Since my Splatter Spikes, I've been thinking up even more ways to use the splatter look and this time I decided on drips. I don't know why, but I decided to do a bit of a watermelon look, so I went with green drips and a pink gradient. First I did the gradient, then placed drip vinyls on top and did the splatter. I think this might have been cooler in a different color scheme, but I do think this is cute.

Spring Time Double Gradients

For this design I used a vinyl to gradient a design over the green gradient. I couldn't settle on a color so I ended up doing purples and pinks. I don't think this design is very clean, but it looks alright from a distance. I did this a few weeks ago, so I think the green gradient is China Glaze Treble Maker, Essie Vibrant Vibes, and Color Club 'Til The Record Stops, the pinks are China Glaze Glow With The Flow, Xtreme Wear All Bright and Color Club Feathered Hair Out To There, and the purples are China Glaze Tart-y To The Party, China Glaze Let's Jam, and China Glaze Plur-Ple.

Dry Marbled Abstract

For this design I made decals by putting a vinyl on my silicone mat and then randomly putting drops of nail polish all over the final. Then, to marble it around I squished the wet polish blobs with a stamper. When I put the decal on my nails I thought there was a bit too much white space, so I added some random rows of dots to fill in the design. I used China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, China Glaze Let's Jam, Color Club Teal For Two, Color Club Biscuits & Jam, and Essie Hide & Go Chic.

Gradient Honeycomb

This design is based on a phone wallpaper that I saved forever ago in hopes of one day turning it into nail art. I was never able to do it prior to now because, until recently, I didn't have any hexagonal patterned nail vinyls. Just like with my Holo Triangles design, I used a nail vinyl to create some nail decals on a silicone mat. Unfortunately, there may have been some residue on the mat that got stuck in some of the decals, but hopefully it isn't too obvious. I've done similarly colored gradients a few times before, so this time I tried to use almost entirely different polishes.  For the gradient, from left to right, I used Orly Lemonade, China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin, Xtreme Wear Peach Beach, Color Club Yum Gum, Color Club Raspberry Rush, Color Club Biscuits & Jam, and Xtreme Wear Purple Craze.

 

Green Holo Bursts

Here's a design I did to utilize some new nail vinyls and polishes.The primary green is Zoya Merida, the bursts are outlined in Color Club Kismet, with dots of Milani Hi-Tech in the centers. The surrounding dark creme green is OPI Here Today... Aragon Tomorrow.  I was initially going to do this design on every finger, but I wasn't sure how much I would like it and I also wanted to show off more of Merida.

Holo Triangles

Hello! For these nails I started off with a vertical gradient of Color Club Cosmic Fate, Color Club Miss Bliss and Color Club Eternal Beauty. For the triangles I made full nail decals using a silicone mat, a nail vinyl, and Color Club Beyond. One thing that I had noticed which I had never really considered before is that the base polishes lost their linear holo through sponging on the gradient. Because these are holo nails, prepare for more pictures than really necessary.

Glitter Drips

I usually prefer to freehand drips, but I used nail vinyls this time so that I was able to sponge on the glitter and make it really dense and full coverage. For the gradient I used Color Club Worth The Risque, Revvvolution, and Wild At Heart. The glitter for the drips is Color Club Sexy Siren, and the outline is China Glaze Mix And Mingle.
