Sweet Sunset Thorns

For this one  had to pull out my What's Up Nails thorn nail vinyls. The gradient, from bottom to top, is China Glaze Kill 'Em With Kindness, Zoya Sawyer, Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party.

The base for this one is a smoosh marble using Xtreme Wear Pep-Lum, Color Club Biscuits & Jam, Xtreme Wear With The Beat, Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink.

New Year 2018

Hello everyone, happy New Year! This is the first year ever that I did something other than just painting the new year across each of my fingers. The base is Zoya Storm, and I also used China Glaze Champagne Bubbles, Essie No Place Like Chrome, and Xtreme Wear Celeb City; the holo glitters are China Glaze Disco Ball Drop.

Ornaments Christmas Skittlette

This is such an odd design. I don't really know how any of these nails fit together but I do think the overall effect still works somehow. I also think this may be the first time I've ever really painted ornaments, so that's fun.

Deep Purple Rose Skittlette

This one's pretty self explanatory; I just wanted to paint some dark purple floral. I used Xtreme Wear Painted Lady, China Glaze Mix and Mingle, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party, China Glaze Let's Jam, OPI Your're Such A Budapest, Xtreme Wear Green Thumb, Zoya Wyatt, and Essie Navigate Her.

A Quick Fall Floral

I had much more elaborate ideas when I was planning out these nails, however I had a horrible headache when I went to paint them, so I threw together whatever this is very very quickly instead. I mainly used Xtreme Wear Cuteapillar, Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink, and Zoya Cole. I really didn't like these initially but they grew on me the tiniest bit after I made them matte.

Abstract Geometric Skittlette

It's actually pretty rare that I wear nails that are this bright, so this was definitely a fun one to wear, and stare at, for a few days. Every aspect of this manicure I came up with on the fly, so in hindsight, there are some parts of the design that I'm unhappy with. This is also entirely freehand, which makes it a "better from afar" look, but regardless, I am still fond of the overall effect. I used China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes, China Glaze Let's Jam, China Glaze Boho Blues, and Orly Lemonade. I seriously love these polishes, but I typically stay away from them because I find that they can be difficult to accurately capture on camera, however this one went pretty well!

Sophisticated Skittlette

Other than picking the colors, I didn't really pre-plan for this manicure at all; I just sat down and started piecing a design together as I painted. The black is China Glaze Haunting and the light blue that I used is an unlabeled bottle of Essie, however after a quick google search, I think it may be called Who Is The Boss; at least that's my best guess.

Gradiented Chevrons Skittlette

This mani was inspired by a phone wallpaper I came across a while ago. To do this, I first did the gradient and then I made some chevron decals with vinyls and a silicone mat and applied them individually. My pointer is Essie Mint Candy Apple and my pinky is China Glaze Giver's Theme. On top of the gradient I used Xtreme Wear Disco Ball and Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond

Flowers Glitter Placement

For these nails I decided to do a floral pattern with a glitter placement. I wasn't sure how much I would like this look, so I decided to do a skittlette with single glitter flower accents. The pink is Xtreme Wear Social Butterfly and the cream is Zoya Jacqueline. For the glitters I pulled the green and gold from Spoiled Pet My Peacock, and the pink from China Glaze I'm A Go Glitter. As always with glitter placements using shiny glitter, the design can be difficult to see but looks cool regardless.

An Odd Match Skittle

I'm not exactly sure where my head was at with this one, and I ended up making a skittle manicure that doesn't really go together at all. I really like both floral nails, but they would have been better in a different manicure I think. The red base is Revlon Cherries In The Snow, I think pretty much everything else was a mixture of polishes.

Watermarble Skittlette

I was going to do a full manicure of watermarble, but these polishes were not working well in the water, so I took what I could get and went with a skittlette instead. I used China Glaze Plur-Ple, Color Club Diggin' The Dancing Queen, and Color Club Hot Hot Hot Pants.

Pink and Black Glitter Placement

Here's a glitter placement I did using glitters from China Glaze Glimmer More and China Glaze Create A Spark. I actually liked this design so much that I cut some pieces of glitter for around the cuticle area, which is something I never do.

Bright Summer Floral

Today I have a Summer-y skittlette. I was surprised that these polishes actually photographed pretty true to color. I used China Glaze Treble Maker, Grass Is Lime Greener, Glow With The Flow, Feel The Breeze, and Metro Pollen-Tin.

Fancy Spring Nails

Hello! I recently felt like doing a little bit of freehand painting, so I tried out a simple damask design, along with some fun floral and quatrefoil. I used China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle and China Glaze Glow With The Flow. Any other colors are just these polishes either lightened or darkened.

Spring Geometric

Hello! Today's design is pretty straightforward. I wouldn't typically put these colors together, but I love the result. I used China Glaze New Birth, Xtreme Wear Dabbler, Xtreme Wear Babe Blue, Xtreme Wear Peach Beach, and Zoya Jacqueline.

Cool Spring Skittle

Here's another springy floral design. I used Xtreme Wear Royal Hue, OPI You're Such A Buda-Pest, Xtreme Wear Wing It, China Glaze Mix and Mingle, Essie Vibrant Vibe, Zoya Tiana, and Revlon Posh. My pinky nail doesn't really fit in at all; I think I should have added some white to it.

Valentine's Skittlette

Here's another Valentine's Day manicure! I suppose this could really be worn any time of the year though, as long as you love pink and hearts! I do skittlettes pretty often, so I really tried to avoid it this time, but it just turned into one, I couldn't help it. The pink is China Glaze Glow With The Flow. Of course I also had to make it matte, mostly because I used a lot of black and nothing is better than a matte black.

Greys Quatrefoil Skittlette

Today I have just a quick and easy skittlette. For the quatrefoil I used Revlon Iconic and China Glaze Awaken. The silver nail is Xtreme Wear Celeb City with two coats of Color Club Sex Symbol on top. Of course, because its a skittlette, I had to add studs. I painted the one star with Awaken so that it wouldn't blend in.

Pink And Taupe Skittlette

Here's another skittlette design that I did, this time with a bit of floral! I wasn't so sure about the taupe color at first, but I ended up loving it! The pink is Color Club Vintage Couture, and the taupe is Essie Miss Fancy Pants.
