Floral Love
Here's the nails that I'm sporting for this year's Valentine's Day. The base is a gradient of Color Club Feathered Hair Out To There, Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink, and Xtreme Wear Daycream and I used a ton of other polishes for the floral.

Deep Purple Rose Skittlette
This one's pretty self explanatory; I just wanted to paint some dark purple floral. I used Xtreme Wear Painted Lady, China Glaze Mix and Mingle, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party, China Glaze Let's Jam, OPI Your're Such A Budapest, Xtreme Wear Green Thumb, Zoya Wyatt, and Essie Navigate Her.

Floral and Plaid
This manicure is a bit of an odd one. I wanted to try out a different technique for plaid, which worked pretty well, however the color combination is not working for me at all. I do love the floral nails though! I probably should have gone back and redone my right two nails to improve the overall mani, but it's too late now.

Burgundy and Greys Fall Skittle
I recently picked up a few new Xtreme Wear polishes and together I thought they would make a great fall look. I used Xtreme Wear With The Beet, Xtreme Wear Heavy Metal, Xtreme Wear Retro Grade, China Glaze Fresh Prince-ss. I absolutely love these nails; I had intended to make them matte but I ended up liking them way too much to bother messing with them.

A Quick Fall Floral
I had much more elaborate ideas when I was planning out these nails, however I had a horrible headache when I went to paint them, so I threw together whatever this is very very quickly instead. I mainly used Xtreme Wear Cuteapillar, Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink, and Zoya Cole. I really didn't like these initially but they grew on me the tiniest bit after I made them matte.

Scalloped Chevron Floral
I don't know what it is about these nails, but for some reason they feel pretty old school nail art to me; like a type of design that would have been popular 5 years ago. I do really like these though, but then again I always love how white and black look together. For the pinks, I primarily used China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes and Color Club Raspberry Rave.

Garden Flowers
I hate to end the month on a bad note, but these nails just weren't doing it for me. They didn't really end up anything like I had envision, so I was super disappointed in them and repainted my nails the next day. I think these could have been improved if I had either used completely different colors or had painted roses instead. The base is Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau.

Floral Split Reattempt
I really liked my Floral Split design, but the execution was not great, so I gave it another shot. One half is a netting design, while the other is filigree. I used China Glaze Frosty and Zoya Gie Gie, and the roses are primarily Color Club Yum Gum. I don't know if I'm still 100 percent happy with this look, but I do think it's a major step up from my last try.

Flowers Glitter Placement
For these nails I decided to do a floral pattern with a glitter placement. I wasn't sure how much I would like this look, so I decided to do a skittlette with single glitter flower accents. The pink is Xtreme Wear Social Butterfly and the cream is Zoya Jacqueline. For the glitters I pulled the green and gold from Spoiled Pet My Peacock, and the pink from China Glaze I'm A Go Glitter. As always with glitter placements using shiny glitter, the design can be difficult to see but looks cool regardless.

Passionate Lace
Here's another design with hints of a black tinted base; it turned out quite different from the types of looks that I typically do. For the base of the hourglass shape I used China Glaze Stone Cold, which was a bit of a mistake because this particular polish is matte and didn't level out with the top coat very nicely, meaning that it looks a bit bumpy, even though it really isn't. I outlined this shape with Zoya Anais and used Color Club Santa's Cinnamon for the red design.

Burgundy Floral
Here's a pretty standard but cute floral for today. The base is Zoya Dove, The flowers are done with China Glaze Nice Caboose, Xtreme Wear Flirt, Milani Red Label, China Glaze Merry Berry, and the leaves are China Glaze Take A Hike.

Pink Half and Half
This started out as a Valentine's Day design but it ended up being just more of a generic floral design. I was going to put heart gems going down the center between the two patterns, but I ended up not really liking how it was looking, so I just left the nails how they are. I used China Glaze Fresh Prince-ss.

Open Roses
Here's a simple floral design. I didn't think it would turn out well, so I only did it on two nails, but I actually like it more than I expected to and I wish I'd done a full manicure of it. The base is China Glaze Jagged Little Teal, for the floral I used China Glaze Tart-y For The Party, China Glaze Wait N Sea, and China Glaze Capacity To See Beyond. I hate photographing in this lighting, but it's the only way I could get the colors to be even close to actuality.

An Odd Match Skittle
I'm not exactly sure where my head was at with this one, and I ended up making a skittle manicure that doesn't really go together at all. I really like both floral nails, but they would have been better in a different manicure I think. The red base is Revlon Cherries In The Snow, I think pretty much everything else was a mixture of polishes.

Roses on White
Here's a pretty standard floral manicure. I originally painted this intending to matte it, but the glossy just looked so much better, so I stuck with that. The base is China Glaze Frosty and the roses are mostly China Glaze Nice Caboose, and the leaves are Zoya Shawn.

Muted Spring Flowers
Here's a floral design I did a few weeks ago. It didn't all turn out quite as I wanted, but I do think some of the flowers look nice. The base colors are Color Club Kiss My French and Zoya Megan. The flowers are primarily Color Club Macaroon Swoon and Xteme Wear Tickled Pink.

Half Quatrefoil Half Floral
I only did these nails a few weeks ago, and yet I can hardly remember anything about them. I like the contrast between the styles and colors a lot. I do wish I was a little more careful with the quatrefoil though.

Full Rose Nail
This is another manicure that I did while experimenting with jelly polishes. The roses are China Glaze Giver's Theme, and the base is Zoya Paloma. Unfortunately, the roses ended up blending in more than I expected, but because the base is jelly the nails look kinda cool when lit from behind.

Jelly Sandwich Flowers
I got this jelly polish, Zoya Frida, years ago when it came out, and until now I had never used in an actual manicure. I was so excited to do all kinds of cool stuff with it, but I had trouble getting an even coverage, so I kind of just forgot about this polish. Well I finally broke out this bad boy the other day and I'm glad I did. I know this manicure has probably been done a hundred times, but I wanted to give it a go and I think it looks pretty cool. It's not the most incredible thing in the world, but it is a great way to get a neat looking design using basically only one polish.
