Easter 2017

Here's this year's Easter nails; I always love painting patterns, so this year I did chickies, bunnies, and eggs along with an Easter basket. I primarily used the pastel neons from Color Club; Disco's Not Dead, 'Til The Record Stops, Meet Me At The Rink, Diggin' The Dancing Queen, Feathered Hair Out To There.

Pastel Neon Zebra

I don't think I've done an animal print in over a year, even though you can never go wrong with zebra print! All the polishes I used are from the Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon collection; they are 'Til The Record Stops, Meet Me At The Rink, Diggin' The Dancing Queen, Feathered Hair Out To There, Hot-Hot-Hot Pants, and Disco's Not Dead. I also added a little bit of holo glitter with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond, even though they mostly look like weird specs on my nails in the pictures.

China Glaze Fast Track & Cheetah Print

Today I'm wearing something a pretty different for me! I was in the mood to use China Glaze Fast Track, so I kind of based this whole look around that. The cheetah is China Glaze Foie Gras, and the burgundy is China Glaze Nice Caboose. I like how this looks now, but I wasn't fond of it on my nails; it's just not really my style.

Holo Gradient and Zebra Print

Hello! I did a vertical gradient using some really pretty Milani holos that my friend recently passed down to me. I thought the gradient looked really nice, but it was a little bland for me, so I had to add some zebra print. I used Milani Cyberspace, Digital, HD, Hi-Res, Hi-Tech. The zebra print is with Color Club Revvvolution.

Matte Cheetah Print + Gradient

Hello! It's been a little while since I've really done any animal print. I was really in the mood for more neutral colors with this one, so I went for some taupes. The purple is Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac and the taupe colors are Essie Miss Fancy Pants and China Glaze Foie Gras. I wore this glossy for about a day, but I just knew it would look much better matted.

31DC2015: Red Base

 Hello! I wasn't feeling very well yesterday, so I was unable to post this on time! Anyway, here's what I came up with for my red base nails. The red is Nicole by OPI Challenge Red-y.

PNMC: Domestic Animal

 Hello! For this weeks Pick N Mix Challenge I've chosen to do the domestic animal prompt. I couldn't resist painting some little bunnies on my nails! The base is Essie Turquoise and Caicos. The dark grey is Revlon Iconic, and for the blonde and brown bunnies I mixed polishes together. I'm really happy with these, I think they're so cute!

Zebra Print and Zoya Aurora

Zoya Aurora is one of my all time favorite polishes and I was just really in the mood to wear it! It's been ages since I've done any kind of animal print, so I threw some zebra stripes on using Xtreme Wear Celeb City.

33DC: Day 33

 Hello! It's the last day of the challenge! Today's prompt is Freestyle/recreate someone else's manicure. I decided to recreate Nuthin' But A Nail Thing's day 15 animal manicure! This girl is seriously amazing. I love everything she posts, and her flamingo nail art was no exception. I don't have any glitter like she used, so I just did polka dots instead.

For the base I used Xtreme Wear Perfect Pear-ing. The flamingos are made of Zoya Shelby, and Color Club Vintage Couture. For the polka dots I used Revlon Posh, CC Vintage Couture, Orly Lemonade, and Xtreme Wear Blinding Blue.

33DC: Day 18

Hello! Today in the 33 Day Challenge we are doing a manicures with two patterns! I really couldn't decide what I wanted to do for this one, so I played it safe and stuck with leopard and zebra print! For the base I did a gradient using Essie Mint Candy Apple, Where's My Chauffeur?, and Naughty Nautical.

33DC: Day 15

 The prompt for day 15 is animals! After some deliberation I decided to paint a peacock! I put the actual bird on my middle finger. On my other fingers I painted his feathers as they come out of his back. I love him, I think he's very majestic.

For the peacock I used China Glaze Frostbite. The greens that I used are China Glaze Def Defying, Watermelon Rind, and Running In Circles. I also used Orly Rage, and Zoya Noel.

May TPC: Day 1

Today is the first day of the Tri-Polish Challenge for the month of May. the colors for may are red, grey, and blue, which, to me, are pretty tricky, but I guess that's why it's a challenge! For the first day I just used two of the colors, blue and grey, and did a cheetah print! I used Essie Mint Candy Apple, and Revlon Iconic.

April TPC: Day 4

Hi! It's the final day of the April Tri-Polish Challenge! For my final manicure using these colors I did a funky zebra print. For my pink, orange, and turquoise I used Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink, Zoya Arizona, and Essie Where's My Chauffeur?.

April TPC: Day 3

Hello! I'm here today with my third manicure for the April Tri-Polish Challenge. Today I did a leopard print using two of the three colors, Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink, and Essie Where's My Chauffeur?. I know it's not a requirement, but I like to incorporate all three colors into each manicure. After I had done the leopard print I tried to add in some orange. It did not work out... so I just settled for this! I like it a lot though!

Pink and Purple Zebra

Hello! Today I have a manicure that I did a couple of weeks ago. I kind of forgot about it until now. I did a gradient with Revlon Cherries In The Snow, and Zoya Mira for the base. Then I free handed a zebra print with Zoya Neely. Excuse my messy cuticles, that pink color was impossible to clean up!

New31DC: Day 19

Hello! Today is my favorite polish! I don't know if this is actually my absolute favorite nail polish, but it's definitely high on the list. I use Zoya Zara. I did a post on it way back when, and apparently I wasn't sure how I felt about it. Well, I really like light purple nail polish, and this ones gold glitter definitely makes it a winner to me. I free handed a zebra print but the black was too harsh over Zara, so I added some glitter using Xtreme Wear Strobe Light.

New31DC: Day 8

Hi! Day 8 calls for holo, flakie, or duochrome! I tried to get all three into a manicure, but I didn't think the flakie would look good over either one. I decided to so a design using holo and duochromes. I used a base of Color Club Worth The Risque, which is a silver that has very subtle holo. Then I did a leopard print using Zoya Adina, and China Glaze Deviantly Daring, both duochromes. It's difficult to see the duochrome effect on the polishes because they are on such a small scale.

31 Day Challenge II: Animal Print

Today is day 13! This day calls for animal print. I originally wanted to do some animal print that you wouldn't typically find on nail art, but then I came up with this idea. I just did a leopard print with three different colors. Originally I wasn't too thrilled with it, but after I wore it for a bit I began to love it. It's the first nail art since my red nails that I was actually upset about taking off. A girl in one of my classes even asked me if I was wearing those nail polish stickers!

The White is Xtreme Wear White On, the orange is Zoya Arizona, the pink is Color Club Raspberry Rush, and the black details are XW Black Out.
