Ruffian Filigree
I didn't have a lot of time to paint my nails last week so this was something that I just quickly threw together. The base is Zoya Finley and the details are Color Club Hot Like Lava.

Confetti Ruffian
I don't usually like doing ruffians because I think they look a bit odd, almost like your nail is slipping off your finger, but I do like the little peek of glitter, similarly to what I did here. The glitter is China Glaze Point Me To The Party, the pink is Color Club Raspberry Rave and the purple is Color Club Biscuits & Jam. These polishes were so bright that they photographed horribly.

Glitter Ruffian
Today's nails are kind of in a similar style to my last ones, except this time with a ruffian design. I don't normally like ruffian manicures because I think sometimes it can look like the nail is like sliding off or something, but I actually ended up loving this a lot more than I expected. The base is Xtreme Wear Painted Lady, the glitter is China Glaze Your Present Required, and the outline is Orly Rage.

Sea The Ruffian
For this manicure I did a ruffian using similar colors that I used for my District 4 design, so it really reminds me of the sea. I used China Glaze Hook And Line first, which I love the color of but I'm not huge on the goopy formula. Then I did a ruffian with Xtreme Wear The Real Teal.
Then I sponged on Xtreme Wear Treal-y Cool on the tips.

Merry Christmas (Eve)!
I did it! 12 Christmas inspired manicures! This is my final one, no real rhyme or reason to what I did for it. Merry Christmas!
Zoya Holly, Color Club Gingerbread Man, and China Glaze Mommy Kissing Santa.
China Glaze Party Hearty gradient to go along.

Foiled Ruffian
This is probably my last post which is completely unrelated to Christmas for a while. It is also my first Ruffian! I never did a ruffian manicure before because I always thought it looked kinda awkward, almost as if your nail was like sliding off. Blech. But I gave it a try and I actually love it! I don't know if it's because of the color combination or what, but Ill probably try it again in the future.
I used Color Club Hot Like Lava (Pink) and Cold Metal (Blue) from the Foiled collection. I used foils because they usually have really good one coat coverage, which I think is important when doing a layering manicure like this, or half moons.
