Dragonball Z

I've been debating painting Dragonball Z nails for a while now, but when I went to see DBZ: Battle of Gods in theaters yesterday I knew it was finally time! For my nails I wanted to paint something for each of my favorite DBZ characters. On my pointer is Future Trunk's outfit. For my middle finger I painted Master Roshi's symbol, which his students, and most importantly Goku, wear. On my ring finger is the armor that Vegeta typically wears, and on my pinky is Piccolo's outfit, including a bit of his weighted cloak. On my thumb I had painted the three star dragonball, but it looked kinda sloppy so I didn't want to put up a picture of it.

Pointer: I used Revlon Iconic, Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue, OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, OPI The "It" Color, and China Glaze Roguish Red.
Middle: The orange is Zoya Thandie.
Ring: The blue is China Glaze Manhunt and the yellow is Zoya Darcy,
Pinky: The base is Zoya Mira. For his waistband I mixed OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and China Glaze One Track Mind.

Game Of Thrones: House Targaryen

I've been meaning to post these nails for two days now, but I've just been super lazy. On top of that, I'm not particularly proud of them. Anyway, for the Targaryens I did something a little different, mostly because I was too much of a wimp to attempt painting their sigil. I painted Daenerys's dragon's eggs. I sort of combined how they look in the show and how they're described in the book. On my pinky is just a design using the Targaryen house colors and on my thumb is their house words "Fire and Blood."

For the bases I used a mix of Zoya Josie and China Glaze Def Defying, Xtreme Wear Grey Area, Zoya Jacqueline, and Nicole By OPI Challenge Red-y. The detail on the eggs is Xtreme Wear Time To Shine, Color Club Berry And Bright, and Xtreme Wear Golden-I.

Game Of Thrones: Houses Martell and Tyrell

Today's Game of Thrones manicure is for the houses Martell and Tyrell. I ended up painted these two together because both of their sigils are round and really wouldn't do well as a single manicure. I painted the Martell sun being pierced by a spear and an additional spear on my pointer. I also painted the Tyrell rose and a thorny vine on my pinky.

The orange is Zoya Arizona, the red is Revlon Valentine, the green is China glaze Starboard and the yellow is Zoya Darcy.

Game Of Thrones: Houses Baratheon and Lannister

Hello! For this manicure I painted the sigils of the houses Baratheon and Lannister from Game of Thrones. I tried to figure out a way to give each of these houses their own manicure, but it just wasn't happening, so I decided to put them together! As you can see, I did the Baratheon Stag and the Lannister Lion facing each other.

 The yellow is Zoya Darcy, the red is Revlon Valentine, and the gold is China Glaze Midnight Kiss.

Game Of Thrones: House Tully

For today's Game of Thrones manicure I painted the sigil of the Tully's, which is a trout. I didn't have enough room underneath the fish, so I painted the blue ways vertically down my pinky instead. I painted his whole body with acrylic paint and it didn't even out too well with the topcoat, but luckily it wasn't that noticeable on camera.

The base is Nicole By OPI Challenge Red-y. The blue is China Glaze Man Hunt.

Game Of Thrones: House Stark

Hello! Today I have a manicure that I am super excited about! The fourth season of Game Of Thrones premieres this upcoming Sunday. Because I am so excited for this season to begin, from today leading up until Sunday I will be posting manicures inspired by some of the most prominent houses in Westeros. Up first are the Starks! For the Starks I painted their house sigil, a direwolf, across my nails. Although according to the books the Stark banner is a grey direwolf on a white field, I didn't want to have such a plain background, so instead I took inspiration from the HBO version, which has a green stripe at the bottom.

The base color is Zoya Jacqueline. The grey is Xreme Wear Wet Cement, and the green stripe is LA Splash Greenery.

Once Upon A Time

 Hello! Today my nails are inspired by the tv show Once Upon A Time. It's my favorite show and the season finale was on today, so, why not do some nail art for it? For the manicure I painted the Once logo that appears on the title card before every episode. The base is Xtreme Wear Blue It, and the writing is Essie No Place Like Chrome.
