Glittering Bolt

This mani is a bit of an odd one. I really wanted to do some tiny glitter placement and I came up with this design; I'm not really sure if I'm fond of how it turned out though. The base is Xtreme Wear Midnight Sky. For the bolt I used a bunch of silver glitters including China Glaze Some Like It Haute, Xtreme Wear Twinkle Twinkle,  and OPI When Monkeys Fly. The pink glitter that I used to outline the bolt is from China Glaze Be Merry Be Bright.

Easter 2017

Here's this year's Easter nails; I always love painting patterns, so this year I did chickies, bunnies, and eggs along with an Easter basket. I primarily used the pastel neons from Color Club; Disco's Not Dead, 'Til The Record Stops, Meet Me At The Rink, Diggin' The Dancing Queen, Feathered Hair Out To There.

Pastel Neon Zebra

I don't think I've done an animal print in over a year, even though you can never go wrong with zebra print! All the polishes I used are from the Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon collection; they are 'Til The Record Stops, Meet Me At The Rink, Diggin' The Dancing Queen, Feathered Hair Out To There, Hot-Hot-Hot Pants, and Disco's Not Dead. I also added a little bit of holo glitter with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond, even though they mostly look like weird specs on my nails in the pictures.

Holo Triangles

Hello! For these nails I started off with a vertical gradient of Color Club Cosmic Fate, Color Club Miss Bliss and Color Club Eternal Beauty. For the triangles I made full nail decals using a silicone mat, a nail vinyl, and Color Club Beyond. One thing that I had noticed which I had never really considered before is that the base polishes lost their linear holo through sponging on the gradient. Because these are holo nails, prepare for more pictures than really necessary.

Magnetic Starburst

I recently rediscovered my magnetic polishes, and I've been kind of crazy about them lately. I never really used them before because there's not a whole lot you can do for nail art and I found them to be a bit underwhelming. My tests for these turned out great, however, because my nails are curved, the magnet doesn't hit my entire nail with the same strength and the design isn't as sharp. For these I used the star burst pattern from the original China Glaze magnet on magnetic polishes Color Club Hipnotic and Color Club Steel of the Night. Just to add a little something, I used star glitters from Wet N Wild Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Radial Gradient

This manicure was my first time doing a radial gradient, and my first time using nail vinyls! I started with the gradient, which turned out a bit messy, but thankfully you can't really tell. I used Color Club Meet Me At The Rink, Diggin' The Dancing Queen, and Hot-Hot-Hot Pants, which are all from the Poptastic Pastel Neon collection. Then I applied the swirl nail vinyls, which, because I have curved nails, did not want to stay down. I had to do a ton of annoying clean up because of this, but I think it looks really good regardless.

Color Club Love You To Pieces

Hello! Here is another design that I did utilizing a glitter nail polish. This time I used Color Club Love You To Pieces over a base of Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink. For the stripes on the sides I used China Glaze Givers Theme and Sinful Colors Endless Blue.

PNMC: 3 Color Gradient

It's week two of the Pick N Mix Challenge! This week I'm doing the 3 color gradient prompt. For this manicure I used three Color Club halos, Cosmic Fate, Eternal Beauty, and Over The Moon. I did a dot design on my ring finger using Color Club Revvvolution. I was going to put the dots on every nail, but I ended up not liking it that much, so it became an accent nail. Sorry there are a lot of pictures, I just think the halos are really awesome.

GOT Polish Challenge: Neon

This Thursday calls for neon nails! The polka dots were supposed to be a sort of pattern, but they ended up just looking really random, I still think it works though. I used Color Club Raspberry, I Always Get My Man-darin, Get Your Lem-on, The Lime Starts Here, and Wicked Sweet, which are basically the only neons I own.

33DC: Day 10

Hi! Day 10 calls for flowers! For some reason I just wanted to make some simple flowers out of glitter... It worked alright, but the glitter obviously doesn't make sharp lines, so they look blobby. The  base is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy. For the flowers I used Color Club Jingle Jangle, Beyond The Mistletoe, Art Of Seduction, and Tru Passion. The green bits are Color Club Object Of Envy.

Color Club Halo Hues 2013

Hello! Today I have some awesome polishes to show! For my birthday last week I got a couple of polishes from the recent Color Club Halo Hues collection. They are pretty amazing. I received four from the six piece collection, Cosmic Fate (orange), Eternal Beauty (purple), Kismet (yellow), and Over The Moon (blue). The polishes have a great formula, although sometimes, after the fact, I have noticed the slightest bit of patchiness. Each polish is really pigmented and has a strong linear holo! So far I've only worn Kismet and Over The Moon on their own, so I have some quick swatches of those. The holo is even stronger than my camera wanted to pick up.

I also got striping tape! I couldn't resist doing some fun designs and playing around with these new polishes!
For this manicure I used all of the mentioned polishes
And with manicure I used Over The Moon and Eternal Beauty.
