Since I didn't have the time or energy to actually put effort into my latest manicure, I experimented with the Color Club Fracture overcoats one again! This time I used Tattered In Gold.
Xtreme Wear Purple Pizzazz, Orly Velvet Rope, Xtreme Wear Deep Purple, Purple Potion, and Flirt with Pink-y Ring layered. All are topped with Color Club Tattered In Gold.
Tattered In Gold broke apart in similar fashion to Broken Tokens. They have the same finish, except Tattered In Gold is a very light gold color, so light that sometimes it almost does look silver. I really do like the look of it though, so another winner!

Fractured Fun
I have never really had great success with the "crackle" polishes, so initially I was a bit skeptical about purchasing the from the Color Club Fractured collection. With further investigation I came to fall in love with a few of the colors, and I had to have them. The first one I tried out was Broken Tokens.
Because I don't really like to do manicures that are consistent with each finger, I did a skittle look with all the base colors.
Left-
Orly Razzle, Xtreme Wear Red Carpet, Color Club Ulterior Motive, Xtreme Wear Pink-y Ring, China Glaze Ahoy!. All topped with a coat of Color Club Broken Tokens.
Right-
Xtreme Wear Cosmic Blue, Nicole By OPI You're S-Teal The One, China Glaze Dorothy Who, China Glaze Techno Teal, and Orly Royal Navy, also all topped with Broken Tokens.
I loved the way this looked so much I really did not want to have to take it off. Broken Tokens Definitely surpassed my expectations. I don't know if I'm more skilled with the "crackle" polished now, or if it's the formula of these that made the change, but it seemed to break up better for me. Broken Tokens is a true silver foil color.

Captain America
Okay! Well after that nice break, it's back to the super heros! Although, I don't think that Harry Potter is anything short of being a super hero. Anyway, I wore this look for the midnight showing of Captain America last night, which was pretty great.
My middle finger is Captain America's shield, and the other fingers are the torso of his uniform
Captain A's shield on my thumb
I used Xtreme Wear White On, Blue It, and Cherry Red

Harry Potter 1
This is my first of two Harry Potter themed manicures. They are obviously due to the upcoming, and final installment in the Harry Potter movie series. I'm extremely excited for this movie to come out and cannot wait for its release Thursday night!
On my right hand, unsatisfied with how the letters turned out, I sandwiched the "HP" in rainbow glitter, to give it a more magical feel.
The Black base color is Xtreme Wear Black Out. The Glasses, and Hallows are China Glaze Millennium, The Snitch is China Glaze Midnight Kiss, and The Dark Mark is Xtreme Wear Ivy League. On the Thumb is Xtreme Wear Celeb City with Nicole By OPI Let's Make a Comet-Ment layered on top, the "Hp" is Xtreme Wear Black Out.
Rainbow
As you can probably tell from the nail length, this is an old manicure that I never really got around to posting. I'm rather fond of it though, and seeing as I have nothing else to post for the time being, I thought I'd finally add this one! I used tape to section off and better seperate the colors, while also giving them nice crips edges. I just wish my nails had been in better shape...
Just for fun, I added some crackle on top! China Glaze Lightning Bolt, and Black Mesh
Xtreme Wear Cherry Red, Fuschia Power, Zoya Mira, Xtreme Wear Blue Me Away!, Pacific Blue, Going Green, Mellow Yellow, and Sunkissed.
