Octopus
Hello! Today I have some fun octopus nail art! For the base I started out with a gradient using Zoya Blu and China Glaze Man Hunt. For the base of Mr. Octopus I used OPI Suzi's Hungary Again. I shaded it a little by mixing the base color together with Zoya Flora, which created a color that wasn't too light for me to give him a little dimension. For his suckers I used Color Club Vintage Couture. I just love this little guy!

June TPC: Day 3
Hello! Welcome to day three of the Tri-Polish Challenge. This is the design that I came up with for today. It kind of reminds me of Pac-Man. Once again, the colors that I'm using are Color Club Yum Gum, Heart To Heart, and Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac.

Rainbow Week: Day 5
Hello! It's the last day of my rainbow week, and what better way to end it than by painting an actual rainbow? I decided to make it cross three nails, and of course I had to paint a cool sun with sunglasses on my thumb.

Rainbow Week: Day 4
Hi! It's day 4 in my rainbow week. Since today also coincides with the Tri-Polish Challenge, once again I had to do a manicure on my right hand. Because of this I decided to go simple with a rainbow glitter gradient. I wasn't sure how the base color would effect the over look of the manicure so I did both black and white. The glitters are all from the Color Club Glitter Vixen collection. They are Sultry Diva, Object Of Envy, Sexy Siren, Tru Passion, and Art Of Seduction. I don't think the photos really do it justice, but it's hard taking pictures with your left hand!
June TPC: Day 2
It's the second day of the Tri-Polish Challenge. I did some "maze" designs over a gradient. My polishes for this challenge are Color Club Heart To Heart, Yum Gum, and Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac. I fee like this should be a Valentines Day manicure.

Rainbow Week: Day 3
Hello! Here's what I came up with for today's rainbow nails! I was running short on time with these, so sorry that they are a little messy around the edges. That aside, I love how these look! Although, I do wish there was a little bit less orange. This look would look really great on some longer nails, I don't quite have enough length to fit all of the colors that well.
I used Color Club Hear To Heart, Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed, Sunny Side, China Glaze Def Defying, Xtreme Wear Blinding Blue, Color Club Pucci-Licious, and Yum Gum.
Rainbow Week: Day 2
Today not only brings the beginning of the June TRi-Polish Challenge, but also the second day of my rainbow week. Since today coincided with the TPC I had to do this manicure on my right hand. I decided to go for a pastel rainbow braid. I think it turned out pretty well considering I did it with my non-dominate hand. I love pastels, so naturally I love all of these colors together.
I used Essie Haute As Hello, Orly Lemonade, Zoya Neely, Zoya Blu, Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac, and Color club Vintage Couture.

June TPC: Day 1
Hello! It's the third week of June, and that means that it's time for another round of the Tri-Polish Challenge! The colors for this month are red, pink, and purple. For my polishes I chose Color Club Heart To Heart, Yum Gum, and Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac. My first manicure is sort of inspired by the first design in this video by MissJenFabulous. I cut up tape into triangles and then randomly placed them on my nails, already painted with a base of white. I then sponged over the nail with my three colors. I didn't want the nails to be too dark, so I only used the tiniest bit of red.

Rainbow Week: Day 1
Hello! Today begins the first full week of my summer! Now that is it summer, and I have plenty of free time, I've decided to start doing more themed nail art weeks. Since my Rainbow Drip manicure most of the nail art I've been brainstorming has involved some sort of rainbow, that is why this week will be rainbow week! For 5 days every manicure will somehow incorporate a sort of rainbow. For this first manicure I painted a white base and then lightly dabbed on each polish using saran wrap. The results aren't exactly what I had in mind, but I still like it, despite some spots looking a bit muddy.
I used the entire Color Club Wicked Sweet collection for this manicure, which includes Get Your Lem-On, The Lime Starts Here, Wicked Sweet, Gimme A Grape Big Kiss, Raspberry Rush, Yum Gum, and I Always Get My Man-Darin.

Graduation!
Hello everyone! Tonight is my graduation! On my nails I painted the traditional graduation things... the cap, the rolled up diploma, the year. I also painted my schools mascot, a ghost! Isn't he adorable? My school's colors are maroon and white so I made sure to include plenty of that. For the procession I will be wearing white, and the boys maroon, but I painted a maroon cap anyway because that's really my schools main color. Plus I like how it looks between the two maroon nails.
The maroon is China Glaze Purr-Fect Plum, and the silver is Xtreme Wear Celeb City.

Comparison: Water You Waiting For Vs. Kendall On The Katwalk
Hello! Today I will be comparing two similar polishes, Nicole By OPI Kendall On The Katwalk and China Glaze Water You Waiting For. To a casual observer, these polishes may appear identical, but upon closer inspection, they most certainly are not. On my pointer and ring fingers is the China Glaze and on my middle and pinky fingers is the NOPI. Both polishes have sheer blue bases with small blue and green glitters. Where they deviate is with the third glitter, WYWF has darker blue glitters, where KOTK has bright purple.
CG WYWF, NOPI KOTK, CG WYWF, NOPI KOTK
Both are jam packed with glitter and apply really well. The China
Glaze is slightly more watery, having more of the base polish in it, so the glitter gets buried a bit more than with KOTK. I used two coats for both polishes
For me Kendall On The Katwalk is the winner just because I think the purple glitter is stunning. It's definitely up there as one of my all time favorite polishes. Both are really great nail polishes but I think that if you have one of them, than you don't need the other.

Dripping Rainbow
Hi! I'm back from a short break from blogging. School's been wrapping up lately and I just haven't been in the mood to pain my nails. Today however, I was really in the rainbow mood. I decided to incorporate that rainbow into a drip manicure! I'm really digging this look, I just love rainbows on a dark base.
I used Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink, Color Club Pucci-Licious, Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue, Blinding Blue, China Glaze Def Defying, Xtreme Wear Sunny Side, Sun Kissed, Color Club Heart To Heart, and Xtreme Wear Pink Punch.
