The Wolverine
Hello! Tonight I will be going to the movies to see The Wolverine! This is the manicure that I will be sporting. On my pointer finger is Wolverine's famous claws, and on my middle finger is Wolverine's face in his traditional mask. On my ring finger is the Silver Samurai, his main foe in the film, and on my pink is a snake tongue for Viper. Finally, on my thumb is the torso of Wolverine's costume.
The yellow is Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow, the blue is Xtreme Wear Blinding Blue. For the silver I used Essie No Place Like Chrome. On my pinky the green is LASplash Greenery and the red is Color Club Heart To Heart. The skin tone is LASplash Nudist.
July TPC: Day 4
It's the last day of the Tri-Polish Challenge for the month of July! The colors this month were blue, blue, and green. The polishes that I used were Zoya Josie, OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue. For my last manicure this month I just did a simple half moon manicure with some dots outlining it. If you aren't too great with making clean lines, this is a great way to cover up any sort of wiggles in your half moon, and it's super cute as well!

Comparison: Zoya Tinsley Vs. Rica
Hello! Today I will be doing a comparison between two polishes, both from the brand Zoya. I absolutely love Zoya polishes and I was really excited for their summer 2013 Irresistible collection. One of the polishes I had my eye on was Tinsley. I knew right from the beginning that it was similar to another polish named Rica, but I didn't mind because I really like Rica, so I went ahead and bought Tinsley anyway. As it turns out, the two polishes were a lot more similar than I had expected. In the bottle the two are decipherable. Tinsley has a cool toned rose gold base, while Rica is a bit more on the coral side, and is a warmer color with more orange in it.

On the nail however, I had a lot of difficulty finding differences between the two polishes. I'm gonna be honest, I took these pictures a little while ago, and I'm not exactly positive which polish is on which nails. That's because they are so similar! However, I think Rica is on the pointer and ring fingers, and Tinsley is on the middle and pinky nails.
While they do have different bases, they both have a ton of the same gold shimmer in them. The gold is so dense and vibrant that when you look at the nail you really can't decipher all that much of the base color. The formula on both of these polishes was great and I used 2-3 coats for each. I really do like both polishes a lot, I'm just bummed that they look so similar on the nail. I highly recommend purchasing at least one of them though.

July TPC: Day 3
Hello! Once again it is time for the Tri-Polish Challenge. The colors for July are blue, blue, and green, and the polishes I have chosen to use are Zoya Josie, OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue. The design that I did today was inspired by this manicure by Delight In Nails. My stars are pretty wonky, especially toward the center, but I still think the overall effect is kind of neat.

Justice League
Hello! Today I was watching the show Justice League Unlimited and wondering what I should paint my nails. Then it became clear to me that I should paint some Justice League nails. For this manicure I painted some of the major players in the JL, Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, and Green Lantern. The insignias that I painted closer resemble those that appear in the show Justice League Unlimited because that's what I was watching at the time, and that show's awesome.
All of the red is China Glaze Red Satin. Wonder Woman's detail is Nicole By OPI Dandy Lion. The blue is China Glaze Man Hunt and Superman's yellow is Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow. Flash's yellow is Xtreme Wear Sunny Side. The green is Revlon Posh, and the grey is Xtreme Wear Wet Cement.

July TPC: Day 2
Hellooo! It's day 2 of the July Tri-Polish Challenge. The colors for this month are blue, blue, and green, and the polishes that I'm using are Zoya Josie, OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, and Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue. For today I decided to once again try a swirly dot design. I really like how it turned out, I just wish that the lighter blue stood out a bit more over the green.

Shirt Stripes
Hello! Today I have a manicure that I painted around two months ago. I was wearing a particular shirt one day, and I realized that the pattern would be fun to paint on my nails! I think my lines could have been cleaner. For the base I used Xtreme Wear Wet Cement.
