GOT Polish Challenge: Orange

This Thursday calls for orange nails! This was a bit of a challenge for me because I don't usually work with orange all that much. In the end I decided to use a peppermint swirl design, only this one looks more like it would be creamsicle or something. For the base I used Zoya Thandie, and the lighter orange is Essie Haute As Hello.

Geometric Line Time

Hello, here is some nail art that I painted the other day. I got the idea from a manicure that I saw on Pinterest a little while ago, but I can't for the life of me find the post now! The orange I used is Essie Haute As Hello, the green is Essie Navigate Her, and the purple is Xtreme Wear Pinch Of Punch.

GOT Polish Challenge: Chevrons

Here is what I came up for today's GOT prompt, chevrons! I started out by doing a gradient using three polishes that I haven't used in a while, China Glaze Deviantly Daring, China Glaze Unpredictable, and OPI Just Spotted The Lizard. I placed chevron shaped tape on my nails and then painted over it with black to fill in the design. This is actually the first time I've ever used tape to make a chevron design! The coloring isn't really something that I usually wear, but I like it a lot.

Four Color Chevron

Today I'm wearing one of my favorite designs to paint, chevrons! They can tend to take quite a bit of time to freehand, but I have fun painting them regardless. I originally painted this for this weeks GOT, but silly me, I forgot to use any old polishes! So I've come up with a new design for Thursday, and am posting this one now instead!
The pink is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy. From lightest to darkest, I used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint, Essie Where's My Chauffeur? and Essie Go Overboard.

GOT Polish Challenge: Valentines

Hello! This Thursday's theme is Valentines. This is also the manicure that I will be wearing for Valentine's Day tomorrow. I decided to do a skittle mani, and as opposed to my last Valentine's manicure, I went full out with the red and pink. I love how each nail is a totally different style. Personally, I love the middle nail the best, and might do a full manicure of it eventually. I used a bunch of polishes for this design, some old, and some a bit less so.
Pointer: The base is Xtreme Wear Bubblegum Pink. I grabbed a bunch of random polished for the hearts, so I'm not sure what they are...
Middle: The base is Color Club Kiss My French. For the base of the hearts I used a French polish called Laque Evidemment Rose Pivoine, i think. The detailing is Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink and the leaves are China Glaze Starboard.
Ring: The base of my ring finger is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy. Then I sponged on China Glaze Love Marilyn, Xtreme Wear Pink-y Ring, and Milani Hot Pink.
Pinky: The X's are Nicole By OPI Challenge Red-y, and the O is Color Club Yum Gum.

Valentine's Day: Minimal Pink

Today I'm sporting another Valentine's day manicure. This is a pretty standard design, but I wanted to do something that didn't emphasize pink too much. I love these colors together, but unfortunately when I added top coat the pink ended up blending into the base little too much. It can be a bit difficult to make out the pink hearts.
The base is Zoya Jacqueline, the pink is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy, and the green is Zoya Neely.

GOT Polish Challenge: Green

Hello! For today's GOT we are going green! My golden oldie polish that I used is China Glaze Four Leaf Clover. This is a really gorgeous green, but it's absolutely impossible for me to capture the color on camera, which is the main reason why I never wear it. My photos are as close as I could get, but still pretty far off. The actual color is more green than this, but does still have a hint of blue. Over top Four Leaf Clover I painted a filigree design with black acrylic paint, then I used Esse Matte About You to take away the shine! I love this manicure, it's a shame I can't show what it looks like in reality, but the photos still look nice...

Valentines Lattice With Hearts

Hello! Today I am sporting an early Valentine's Day manicure. I decided to do another lattice design, but this time I gave it a Valentine twist. For the base I did a gradient using Revlon Cherries In The Snow, Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink, and Color Club Vintage Couture. The grey is Revlon Iconic. For the hearts I just used Pretty In Hot Pink, and Vintage Couture again. I didn't use Cherries In The Snow because I didn't think it would look good over that dark of a grey.
