This is my first successful splatter manicure! I've had this color combination in mind for a while, and was really excited when I thought to put it in a splatter manicure. Splatters are really neat, but boy are they a pain to do. They are extremely messy, so be prepared for some massive cleanup. Also the polish on the nail was extremely thick for me. I guess practice makes perfect! I can't wait to try out more of these!
I did this manicure today to participate in Splatterday, such an adorable name, which a bunch of lovely blogging ladies came up with.
The masterpiece I made during the process. Can't help but feel I wasted a lot of polish.
I used Xtreme Wear Coral Reef, The Real Teal, Orly Royal Navy, and China Glaze For Audrey
I love the colours you've used for this mani!!!Look amazing!!!

Great mani!!!!
Amazing colors! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat method did you use for this? I really like it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I put some nail polish at the bottom of half of a straw and then blew through the other side, causing the nail polish to splatter all over the place.
DeleteI was just looking at all the thumbnails for the Splatterday posts, and i think yours is my favorite! Beautiful color combo. Orly Royal Navy can really do no wrong in my book :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! What is that facebook group called? I would love to join!
